Why this model matters

Salt vans were essential for transporting bulk salt for industrial and food production across Britain's rail network. The Smiths Salt & Shake Crisps branding adds a distinctive commercial touch, reflecting the connection between rail freight and British consumer goods, especially during festive seasons.

This wagon enhances visual variety within mixed freight consists and works particularly well in late 20th-century layouts where branded rolling stock became increasingly common.

How to use it

This is a ready-to-run OO scale wagon. Simply place it on compatible OO gauge track and couple it to your locomotive or freight consist. Check couplings for secure connection to ensure smooth operation. No assembly, paint, or glue is required.
