Don't Come Knocking

The award-winning team behind Paris, Texas - director Wim Wenders and writer Sam Shepard - reunited in 2005 for Don’t Come Knocking, a charming contemporary Western road movie.

Howard Spence has seen better days. Once a big Western movie star, he now drowns his disgust for his selfish and failed life with alcohol, drugs and women. When an existential crisis sees him abandon his current project, he begins a journey to confront his past, tracking down his estranged mother, a former lover, and the children he never knew he had.

Starring Sam Shepard, Tim Roth, and Jessica Lange, Don’t Come Knocking is a moving portrait of a lost man finding himself, filled with incredible cinematography and powerful performances.
