Maneco Manecolin Desktop Drone Synth

Maneco Manecolin: A Chaotic Journey Through Modulation and Noise

The Maneco Labs Manecolin is a desktop synthesizer loosely inspired by Rob Hordijk’s legendary Benjolin architecture. This instrument is purpose-built for musicians who embrace unpredictable, organic, and chaotic sonic explorations. Its core comprises two distinct digital oscillators: the first utilizes wavetables with crossfading capabilities, while the second features wavefolding and additive harmonics. By feeding these into a shift register, the system generates the iconic "Rungler" effect—creating emergent, shifting modulations that influence multiple parameters simultaneously. Paired with a squelching MS-20 style filter, a lush Datorro reverb, and a "Grit" saturator, the Manecolin is a comprehensive laboratory for sonic destruction and beauty.

Key Features:

• Rungler Circuitry: Generates complex, non-linear modulation patterns for self-evolving patches.

• Dual Digital Oscillator Core: Merges wavetable synthesis with wavefolding and deep cross-modulation options.

• Squelching MS-20 Filter: A resonant low-pass filter specifically tuned to respond to chaotic internal voltages.

• Onboard Sonic Polishing: Includes a highly resonant reverb with infinite decay and a gritty saturation stage.

• Desktop Patchability: Features a wide array of patch points, allowing users to break internal normalizations and integrate with other gear.
