MoFi MasterTracker Phono Cartridge

"A Juicy, Lively, Refined-Sounding Cartridge"

Step up to the flagship MoFi moving magnet phono cartridge from Mobile Fidelity. It delivers the great performance you would expect from a company that knows vinyl and vinyl playback inside and out. The MasterTracker dual magnet MM cartridge features pure Ohno continuous-cast copper coils plus a Micro Linear diamond stylus and tapered cantilever. The result is surgical precision, pinpoint accuracy, and a purist-based sonic picture of what was cut in the studio.

"What a juicy, lively, refined-sounding cartridge the MasterTracker proved to be," raves Jason Thorpe, soundstageultra.com, July 1, 2019. "There was a sophistication to the sound of this cartridge that belied its price and moving-magnet DNA. There was none of that MM wiriness to the treble – instead, the MasterTracker was silkily refined up top, with plenty of extension and no harshness."

Well-Damped Billet Aluminum Body

The well-damped billet aluminum body controls resonances for tight, accurate bass reproduction. MasterTracker has the lightest-weight magnets in the Tracker Series, delivering the kind of detailed, open performance normally attributed to high-end moving-coil cartridges.

Micro-Line Diamond Stylus

By using a Micro-Line diamond stylus shaped like the cutting head of a record lathe, MasterTracker traces vinyl groove walls with microscopic precision.
